DU admissions first list of sports quota released on July 9: Check now

New Delhi : Delhi University (DU) has already started its admission process and the first list of candidates selected through sports quota is out today. Students who have applied for admission under sports quota can check their names at the official website of DU, du.ac.in. 

DU merit list under sports quota has been prepared only of those candidates who have registered online through the official DU UG protal for concerned college and have attended every counselling as well as appeared for verification of original certificates.

Students will have to log on to the UG admission portal to complete the admission process following payment of admission fees. However, applicants are required to do all the admission formalities till 12:00 noon of the next day of the deadline. Admission under the sports quota is held through a fitness test and a trial. Some points are reserved for certificates. Starting this year, students have to upload three certificates during registration. 

The Delhi University (DU) had started its admission process last month for various UG and PG courses offered at its colleges. There are over 56,000 seats on offer across 63 colleges.

In order to take admission to Delhi University UG courses under the sports quota this year, it was decided that students will come to know which position is vacant in each college and can apply as per schedule. Previously, colleges would indicate the number of seats available under the sports quota. Now, the university has asked all colleges to provide a list of seats available under different sports.
