New Delhi : The National Testing Agency has released the answer key of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) on Monday, January 14. This year, 9,41,117 candidates were registered for the examination. The individual question paper and answer keys have been uploaded on jeemain.nic.in.

The facility to view JEE answer keys online will be available from January 14 to January 17, 2019. Therefore, students are advised to check the answer keys and question papers and download the same for future reference. 

JEE Main 2019 answer key: Steps to download

Step 1: Visit the official website, jeemain.nic.in

Step 2: Click on ‘download answer key’ link to be available on the homepage

Step 3: Enter registration number, roll number and click on submit

Step 4: The answer key will appear on the screen

Step 5: Download and take a print out for further reference.

DG NTA Vineet Joshi said, “The answer key of the JEE Main examination will be released today evening along with question papers and answer sheet. The candidates can raise objections on answer key till Friday, January 18, 2019.” After verifying the challenged answer key, the National Testing agency will release the final answer key, the official mentioned.

The experts predicted that the expected JEE Main cut-off will be around 80 to 85. “The overall cut-off is expected to be between 80-85,” said Navin C Joshi, Academic head and VP Gradeup.

JEE Main 2019 exam was conducted between January 8 to January 12, 2019. The result of the competitive exam will be released on January 31. Further, it is expected that the facility to raise objections are expected to be activated later.

JEE Main 2019: NTA important notice for students

Your recorded responses would be graded as regards the official answer key released. Every student is hence advised to go through the recorded responses and the answer keys. Objections would be allowed online. No offline application would be considered by NTA regarding objections to the answer key.

NTA is expected to give about three days’ time for students to raise objections, if any, hence it is important to keep a check on the official website for the release of answer key.
