L&T EduTech signs MoU with AICTE for industry led courses

New Delhi : L&T EduTech, the hybrid learning platform from the Indian Multinational conglomerate Larsen and Toubro, has signed an MoU with the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Through this MoU, the learning modules offered by L&T EduTech will be featured in the AICTE website.

MoU was signed in the august presence of the Chairman- AICTE, Prof. Anil D. Sahasrabudhe, Vice Chairman-AICTE, Prof. M.P. Poonia, Member Secretary- AICTE, Prof. Rajive Kumar and Ms. Febin, Head- College Connect business, L&T EduTech signed the MoU on 05.05.2022.

Speaking on this occasion, Prof. Anil D. Sahasrabudhe, Chairman- AICTE said 

"With growing impetus from the Government towards ‘Make in India’ programme, and with the burgeoning gap between skillset of the fresh Engineering graduates and the requirements from the Industry; we believe that L&T, with 8+ decades of expertise in Engineering, Technology and other diverse portfolio is rightly poised to bridge gap."

L&T EduTech is proud to partner with AICTE towards achieving their vision to “lead the technological and socio-economic development of the country by enhancing the global competitiveness of technical manpower and by ensuring high quality technical education to all sections of the society.”  

The College Connect vertical of L&T EduTech curates holistic, multi-disciplinary, industry relevant courses in core engineering streams like Civil, Electrical, Mechanical and Information Technology, that are offered as interactive learning modules in blended mode. These courses are in line with the credit system for engineering and can fit into the existing semester pattern as well.

The L&T EduTech courses are designed to provide quality education, bridging industry-academic gaps, creating learning opportunities for young engineers, leading to employment prospects in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 2030, which forms the thrust of NEP 2020.

The MoU with AICTE is an important milestone in making these courses accessible to students across the country who pursue Engineering, thereby providing an opportunity that will reinforce their conceptual learning, expose the learners to the tenets of professional practice from the standpoint of the industry and to improve their employability quotient.
