'SAMVAAD': Vikalp conducts its first state meet at JCERT, Ranchi
New Delhi : Vikalp...Searching Together-Learning Together on Saturday conducted its first state meet with a group of teachers at JCERT Ranchi in Jharkhand. The meet with over 30 educators was aimed at knowing the ground realities and troubles faced by them in teaching-learning processes.
In the workshop conducted at DIET Ratu, Ranchi, an avid variety of participants were included for a fruitful result for strategizing need based interventions for the same.
Participants:
# Teachers from the government schools - upper primary, secondary and sr. secondary level.
# Members of the team engaged in textbooks development for Jharkhand state.
# Educational subject experts of language, maths and science for secondary and senior secondary level.
The session that lasted for about four hours had interactive sessions between the Vikalp team members and the educators. From interesting introduction about participants to in-depth discussion added with a mindful questionnaire round; the educators highlighted serious issues they face during the teaching-learning process, also suggesting pragmatic possible solutions for the same.
