Viral Fake News: DPS selling masks for Rs 400 to students

New Delhi : News of Delhi Public School selling masks to its students with its badge for Rs 400 each has gone viral on the social media. While people started reacting to it, Delhi Public School Bengaluru has issued a clarification and claimed that the school has no relation to such masks.

The clarification came after photos of masks printed with the school name and logo became viral on social media.




The viral post also claims that the schools are selling these masks to the kids for Rs 400 each.

Mansur Ali Khan, board member, DPS sent a message to all parents stating that the school was not associated with it.  

"It has been brought to our notice that some agencies are using the school's name and logo to sell products like masks and sanitisers as precautionary measures for school children. Kindly note that the school is not associated with such vendors. Please refrain from falling prey to these anti-social elements who see an opportunity in such adverse circumstances," he stated. 

Parents are requested to not fall for such news as the school is not selling these masks for Rs 400.
