CBSE NEET Results 2017 not to be declared today, Says Official;check more details

New Delhi : The Central Board of Secondary Education will not be declaring CBSE NEET 2017 exam result today. The CBSE was conducted National Eligibility-Cum-Entrance Test (NEET) exam successfully on May 7 across 104 cities in India.

According to NDTV report "A CBSE official confirmed to NDTV late afternoon today that the board will not release the result today. The result declaration date will be announced by the board soon. "

This year a total of 11, 38,890 students registered for this CBSE NEET Exam 2017 including 1522 NRIs, 480 OCIs, 70 PIOs & 613 Foreigners. The NEET exam has been conducted in 10 languages at 1921 Exam Centres in 103 cities. 

Once the CBSE NEET results 2017 are announced, the aspirants will need to proceed for the counselling session. NEET- UG replaces the All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT) and all individual MBBS exams conducted by states or colleges themselves.

On June 12, the Supreme Court ordered that the results be declared by June 26. The results were originally scheduled to be released June 8.

■ Log on to official websites: www.cbseneet.nic.in

■ Once on the homepage, click on link that says ‘Results 2017’

■ Enter your registration number and other details

■ Take a printout and also download a copy for future reference

NEET Exam is owned by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare,  CBSE is only an examination conducting agency. After the declaration of results, the data will be passed on to Ministry of Health & Family Welfare which will coordinate the counselling with the respective States for admissions.
