Maharashtra Board Class 10th Results 2017 declared, pass percentage 88.74%

Mumbai : The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education declared SSC results 2017 on Tuesday at its official website; the pass percentage remained 88.74% (Girls: 91.46%, Boys 86.51%). 

The Maharashtra Board SSC class 10th results have been declared at www.maharesults.in. The class 10 SSC results are also available on other webportals like results.nic.in and examresults.net. Students can now log in to these websites to check their results.

In 2016, over 17 lakh students had appeared for the exam. It is expected that pass percentage will improve this year with the addition of grace marks.Last year, the Maharashtra SSC Class 10th results were declared on 9th June.

The Maharashtra board had conducted the MSBSHSE class 10 examination from March 7 to April 1 at various test centres across the state.  

A total of 9,89,908 were boys and 7,76,190 were girls students registered for the SSC exam. Among the candidates, for the first time, a triple disability candidate took the test. Twenty one-year-old Saurabh Chougule is from Mumbai and is deaf, mute and blind.

This year, the exams were held in a total of 4,728 centres. Last year, a total of 17,27,496 students had sat for the exam which is 38602 higher with respect to last year.

Steps to check Maharashtra Board class 10th results 2017:

# Once the results are declared, students should log on to the official website - www.maharesults.in.

# Students will need to enter their hall ticket number and submit the details.

# Click Submit and the result will be displayed.

# Save the PDF copy of result for future references.

Students will be able to apply for verification of marks and photocopy of mark sheets from June 14 to July 3. Students in Mumbai can avail the services through the online portal set up by the division. Students can apply for re-evaluation within five days of receiving a photocopy of their mark sheets.
