RRB NTPC 2016 Results to be declared soon at rrb.gov.in; Students await official date
New Delhi : The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) NTPC Stage 2 results 2016 are expected to out any time soon on the official website, rrb.gov.in. The RRB NTPC results will be available at the zonal websites and the results might be available zone wise for the candidates.
Earlier, HT reported that the results will be declared by March 15. According to reports, over 3 lakh candidates were qualified for the second stage examination.
Earlier a notification was issued by RRB for the aspirants, stating to fill up fresh preferences for NTPC(Graduate) posts against CEN 03/2015 will be required to ensure that they fulfill the medical criteria of that post keeping in mind that no alternate employment will be given in case the candidate is found medically unfit for the post as per CEN 03/2015.
RRB asked candidates to update preferred job choices on the official website, however results will be announced at a later stage. Candiadtes will be allowed to submit their job preferences from May 8th to May 14th on the official website - indianrailways.gov.in.
As per the official notification, the post of Assistant Station Master (ASM) notified with Grade Pay of 2800/- has been upgraded & merged with the post of Station Master (SM) in Grade Pay of 4200/-(Level 6 as per 7th CPC). On a similar basis, the Grade Pay of the post of Traffic Assistant notified at 2000/- has been enhanced to 2400/-(Level 4 as per 7th CPC).
Nearly, 54 lakh candidates had appeared for RRB NTPC stage 1 exam that were conducted between March 3 and May 6, 2016, and out of them 2,73,780 candidates qualified for stage 2 or main examination.
Another sad news for RRB NTPC aspirants who are currently waiting for 2nd Stage Mains exam result.The Railway Recruitment Boards have decided to revise vacancies notified through CEN 03/2015.
RRB NTPC Results for 2nd Stage CBT are expected to be released category wise by end of May after receiving preferences, official notification is awaited.
Instead of increasing vacancies, RRB has decreased the vacancy. It will affect around 4000 candidates. It is assumed that this decision for reducing in RRB NTPC vacancy has been taken to balance the overburden on Indian Railways after the implementation of 7th Pay Commission.

2. Click on the link 'RRB NTPC Results 2016'
3. Click on activated link Result link RRB 2nd stage NTPC (Graduate) Exam (CBT) against CEN 03/2015’
4. Enter the details like registration number and date of birth
5. Press Submit button
6. Your RRB NTPC Exam Results will appear on the screen
7. Download the result and take a printout for the future reference
