Aamir Khan's 3 Idiots sequel is on its way: Fans, be ready

New Delhi : There is good news for fans of Bollywood actor Aamir Khan. The sequel of 3 Idiots will soon make audiences ‘rock and roll’ in the cinema hall. The movie, based on a novel of Chetan Bhagat, was one of the most successful films of actor. It was much loved not just in India, but also in China and other parts of the world. For now, director Rajkumar Hirani is working with the second installment of the movie and his upcoming movie will possibly take a shape, soon.

3 Idiots was not only successful in acquiring commercial success, but also managed to impress the critics as well. The film has left an everlasting impact on the minds and hearts of the audiences.

Now, if sources are to believe, then there may be a sequel to 3 Idiots from its makers. Speculations are rife that director Rajkumar Hirani recently revealed in one of his interviews for the promotions of Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanju, that he's working on the script of a sequel to 3 Idiots with writer Abhijat Joshi.  

In January 2016, during a press conference for the celebrations of 10 years of Rang De Basanti, Aamir Khan had also mentioned that Hirani has found a story for a sequel to 3 Idiots. Now, it seems that the movie is finally taking some shape. 

Though, Hirani didn't revealed further details, but it sounds as if he made it clear that after Sanju, he will plunge himself in Munnabhai 3 and will be able to begin working on 3 Idiots sequel after that.

Coming to Sanju, the movie is based on the real life story of Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt. It has been scheduled to hit the theatres on June 29.
