Actress Vaishali Takkar commits suicide, names ex-boyfriend in note

New Delhi : TV Actress Vaishali Takkar, who is famous for her on-screen roles in 'Sasural Simar Ka' and 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai', has committed suicide at her residence in Indore home. She was 26-year-old.

According to media reports, a suicide note has also been recovered that suggests she was in stress and was being harassed by her ex-boyfriend.

Vaishali was living in Indore with her father and brother. However, they say that there was no clue that she could take such an extreme step.

Vaishali Takkar made her acting debut in 2015 with the show 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai'. She was recently seen in 'Rakshabandhan' where she starred opposite Nishant Malkani of reality show 'Bigg Boss' fame.

She was found dead in her room. Her father informed the police who have sent the body for postmortem at Maharaja Yeshwantrao Hospital.

During the initial investigation, a suicide note has been recovered which points at her ex-boyfriend. Meanwhile, her mobile phone has been recovered and also the statement of family members are being recorded in the matter.
