Mumbai : Filmmaker Raj Kundra will have to stay in jail for some more time as Bombay High Court on Saturday denied him bail in an adult movie production case.

He had challenged the remand order and had sought immediate release in the matter. However, Bombay High Court rejected his plea and said that his remand and subsequent judicial custody were ‘within the conformity of law and did not require interference.’

Mr Kundra's lawyer had argued against the remand saying that the accused will give his all co-operation in the investigation.

This is not the first time that Raj Kundra’s bail plea has been rejected. Earlier on July 23, when Raj’s police custody was extended, police had informed the court that they suspect the money earned from pornography was used for online betting.

Shilpa Shetty's husband was arrested on July 19 for allegedly producing porn movies and sharing them on different channels. Mumbai Police had claimed that they suspect Raj Kundra as the key conspirator and have enough evidences against him.
