Akshay Kumar's Selfiee fails to shine on Box Office in opening weekend
New Delhi : 2023 is not going great for Akshay Kumar's films as his latest release 'Selfiee' was also seen struggling on the Box Office in the opening weekend. The movie has managed to earn mere Rs 10 crores in the first three days of its release. Directed by Raj Mehta, the film also stars Emraan Hashmi in the lead roles.
Considering the starcast of the movie, which includes names like Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi, the collection of mere Rs 10 crores is enough to call it a dull start for the movie. On the first day, the movie had collected around Rs 2.55 crores; on Sunday, the movie netted around Rs 3.90 crores.

Talking about the movie, Selfiee is a Hindi remake of Malyalam Movie 'Driving License'. Akshay Kumar played the character of Vijay Kumar in that movie. It looks like people did not preferred to spend their money on the movie and would wait to watch it in the comfort of their home and OTT.
This is the fifth flop movie by Akshay Kumar in a row after Bell Bottom, Bachchan Paandey, Samrat Prithviraj and Raksha Bandhan at the Box Office. He will be next seen in the upcoming movie Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.
