Alia Bhatt excited to feature against Salman Khan, ignores criticism

Mumbai : Alia Bhatt is all set to be featured against Salman Khan in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next movie – Inshallah; but it looks like people are not ready to digest the news with an ease. Reacting to hate comments, she said, "I am only excited to have chance like this".

Speaking to Pinkvilla, Alia Bhatt said, "I didn’t get any criticism. I think I got a lot of excitement. I think speculation is also a form of excitement in a way and why shouldn’t there be speculation. There should be and at least I am not bothered by that and I don’t think Salman or Bhansali sir are bothered. I think this is a filmmaker who has given us very good films, he is someone who we all are very fond of and I think we should just trust him with his vision."

Soon after the news was announced last month, some people on Twitter shared their disappointment and were quick in digging out an old picture of the two together when Alia was but a child.

Alia Bhatt will be seen in upcoming movie Kalank which will release in theatres on April 17. Alia has many other interesting projects in her kitty, including Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra, SS Rajamouli’s tentatively titled RRR, Karan Johar’s directorial Takht. She also has the sequel of Sadak in her kitty.

Salman Khan, on the other hand, is shooting for his upcoming movie Dabangg 3.
