Anushka Sharma-Virat Kohli Mumbai wedding reception: Venue, guests, time and other details

Mumbai : After a lavish wedding in Italy and grand celebration in New Delhi, the newly-wed couple Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are all set to host second wedding reception in Mumbai for their friends. While everyone is curious about it, here are some details.

The couple had hosted a reception ceremony in New Delhi for their close friends and relatives on December 21, 2017, which also marked the presence of a few political bigwigs including PM Narendra Modi.

Since then, social media is flooded with their pictures and also wishes.

Venue

Virat and Anushka's second reception for the Mumbaikars has been planned at St Regis hotel in Lower Parel on December 26. The function will take place in a spacious Astor Ballroom. The extravagant venue has 23 foot-high ceilings and crystal chandeliers.

About the Ballroom

The Ballroom has a seating capacity of 300 guests and it is located on level 9 of the hotel. The Ballroom, that has an expansive area of 6,433 square feet, is divided into three sections – a long hallway, pre-function area, the central ballroom and the Astor Terrace. There are floor to-ceiling windows that separate the ballroom from the Astor terrace, which gives ample sunlight and moonlight.

Timing

The wedding reception will start from 8 pm onwards on Tuesday (December 26). This time, you can expect to see the who’s-who of Bollywood will be present at the function.

Guests

Amongst other guests, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Sachin Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh, filmmaker Karan Johar, Katrina Kaif, Rani Mukerji, Mukesh and wife Nita Ambani are expected to attend the reception in Mumbai.
