Priyanka Chopra failed to receive Doctorate degree in Bareilly, expresses disappointment

New Delhi : Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra failed to reach Bareilly to receive her doctorate degree at the Bareilly International University that was being given as an honour after she made it to the top 100 Forbes celebrity list.
She apologised to the fans and also shared her disappointment for being unable to make it for an event she was also very excited.
The Bollywood diva was all set to attend the event, but her flight got delayed. Expressing her disappointment, our desi girl took to her social media handle to tweet, “Weather Gods and Goddesses, please do your thing and clear the skies. I really need to get to Bareilly! Fog lock down. This can’t be happening.”
In a statement, Priyanka Chopra said, “I am heartbroken that I will not be able to attend the convocation ceremony and receive my honorary doctorate in person at the Bareilly International University today. We’ve been at the airport since this morning waiting for clearance from the ATC. My team had also explored all other possible options to get there but the fog has put to rest all plans for today.”
