Baywatch girl Priyanka Chopra wants to play a superhero role

New Delhi : After making a good mark in Hollywood, actress Priyanka Chopra has now raised desire to play a character of a supergirl, specifying it to Batgirl.

Playing a Batgirl will be "cool", Priyanka Chopra said in an interview.

Recently, it was announced that a new Batgirl will be casted this year and as the hunt for the women is on, it seems like Priyanka Chopra has pushed in her name for the character.

“My dream part is, now that I’m working in America, I definitely want to do a superhero part. When I think of American movies, they’ve had superheroes for eons right? So I definitely want to play a superhero and I want to have an interesting super power. I don’t know... Batgirl would be so cool,” she said in a chat with OK! Magazine.

So far we have seen two batgirls -Alicia Silverstone played a version of her (called Barbara Wilson) in “Batman & Robin”, and Rosario Dawson voiced Barbara Gordon/Batgirl in the recent “Lego Batman Movie.”
