Aamir Khan 'Dangal' Box Office Collection Crosses Rs 29 Crore on opening day

New Delhi : Despite of demonetisation after effects, Aamir Khan-starrer 'Dangal' managed to show some great figures on Box Office collections. The film opened to the spectacular reviews and minted Rs 29 crore on the opening day.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film is based on the real life story of Haryana-based wrestler Mahavir Poghat, who trained his daughters, Geeta and Babita.

'Dangal', produced by Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao and co-produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur, was released in theatres on December 23, 2016.

It is expected that the film will easily cross Rs 100-crore mark by the end of this weekend.

Aamir Khan's last movie – 'PK' – was also a blockbuster hit and had collected Rs 340 crores in total from the Box Office collections.
