"I am father to Aaradhya…": Abhishek Bachchan silences divorce rumours with Aishwarya

Mumbai : It's been a while since there have been rumours around bitter-sweet relationship of Abhishek Bachchan and his wife Aishwarya. Some say they are planning to part their ways and also quote instances to prove them correct. The recent was Aaradhya's birthday where Aishwarya had publicly showcased her love and wishes but Abhishek was not seen doing the similar.

Some reports claimed that this is because of the bitter-sweet relationship which can head towards the separation of them. Cut to reality, Abhishek Bachchan recently visited set of Kaun Banega Crorepati to promote his latest movie "I Want To Talk", where he talked about the relationship of a father and daughter.

Amitabh Bachchan asked him about the motivation behind doing the character; to this he replied, "Shweta is your daughter. I am a father to Aaradhya. Shoojit Sircar has two beautiful daughters. We are all girl dads. So, we understand this emotion completely. This was enough for me to be convinced to do this film."

He further added that father-child relationship is vital. For some reason, mother-child relationship is highlighted while the father takes the backseat despite his unwavering sacrifices and dedication to take care of their child.
