Confirmed! Irrfan Khan back in India; Hindi Medium 2 goes on floors

New Delhi : Irrfan Khan, who had undergone cancer treatment in London, will be returning on the silver screen with the sequel of his hit movie 'Hindi Medium'. The second part of the movie has gone on floors, fans are excited to see their star back in action.

According to reports, Irrfan Khan is back in India and is continuing his treatment at a Mumbai hospital.

Recently, producer Dinesh Vijan had also announced that the film will be directed by Homi Adajania. Speaking to a news agecy IANS, a source close to the actor confirmed, “Irrfan is back in Mumbai. But people are publishing all sorts of stories without any confirmation. They are not true.”

The source also added, “I will get an update on his health and when will he be resuming work when I meet the actor soon.” While the source had no clue when the shooting will begin, producer Dinesh said, “I will make an official announcement about the film in a fortnight.”

The female lead is yet to be finalised for the movie.
