Pulwama Terror Attack: 40 CRPF personnel martyred, Jaish-e-Mohammed claims responsibility
Pulwama : At least 40 CRPF police personnel have been martyred in an IED blast that ripped through a vehicle they were travelling in. Several other officers have been injured in the attack.
Terrorist outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed has claimed the responsibility of the attack. As per information, the blast took off at around 3:40 PM.
According to news agency ANI, gunshots were reported from the area after the blast took place. The area has been cordoned off and a massive search operation is underway.

This is the second attack on CRPF personnel within a week. On February 10, stone pelting was reported on the officers in Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir after the army killed 5 terrorist in an encounter.
The bodies of all five terrorists killed in the encounter were recovered. However, their identities were not immediately ascertained.
