Kabir Singh Trailer: Shahid Kapoor nails the act

New Delhi : The makers of Kabir Sing have released the trailer of Shahid Kapoor's upcoming movie. Playing the titular character, Shahid brings the wild side of his character out from the very first scene in the trailer.

The short clip sets the tune of his character as a rebel but not without a cause. The suffering, the passionate love, the pain of separation and the fire to face everything in life are a few traits of Shahid’s character in the film. 

Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film also stars Kiara Advani playing the character of Preeti, Kabir’s meek girlfriend who bows down in front of circumstances and gets married to someone else, leaving the man horrified.

The trailer shows glimpse of a Kabir Khan going mad over her girlfriend's decision and also shows the romantic moments between Kabir and Preeti.

All Shahid fans can expect a high on performance movie coming their way. The character appears raw and Shahid, to his credit, has justified his performance by showing absolutely no empathy for Kabir – he has played it gritty.

Kabir Singh is the remake of Telugu hit film Arjun Reddy. Even the original film was directed by Vanga. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Murad Khetani, Krishan Kumar and Ashwin Varde, it’s slated to hit the screens on June 21.
