Kangana Ranaut Movie Emergency Release Date Postponed

Mumbai : Actress Kangana Ranaut is all set to woo audience with her upcoming movie 'Emergency', she will be seen playing the character of Smt. Indira Gandhi. But, her fans will have to wait a bit longer for her movie as the makers have decided to postpone the release from its scheduled date of June 14.

It has been learned that due to ongoing political campaigns of Kangana Ranaut, the makers have decided to postpone release of the movie. However, new release date has not been revealed yet.

In a note shared with fans, the makers wrote: "Our hearts are filled with love pouring in for our queen Kangana Ranaut."

The note further read, "As she prioritises her duty to the nation and her commitment to serve the country, the release date of our much awaited film 'Emergency' has been postponed. We promise to update you soon with a new release date. Thank you for your continued support. #EmergencyComingSoon (sic)."

For those who are unaware, Kangana Ranaut is contesting Lok Sabha elections from Mandi seat in Himachal Pradesh for Bharatiya Janata Party. In one of the recent interviews, the actress had said that 'Emergency' is her most ambitious project.

The movie also features Anupam Kher, Milind Soman, Mahima Chaudhry, the late Satish Kaushik, and Shreyas Talpade in key roles.
