Milan Talkies Ali Fazal inspired from Shah Rukh Khan, says source

New Delhi : After repeated selection of star cast, the filmmaker Tigmanshu Dhulia has finally actors for playing lead role in his upcoming Milan Talkies. Sources confirmed that Ali Fazal and Shraddha Srinath are playing the lead roles and the shooting for the movie has already begun.

The first day shoot of Milan Talkies begun at the Gulab Cinema in Golaganj, in old Lucknow. Though, there is a speculation that the lead cast film did not shoot on the first day and instead did pose for photographs outside the cinema hall 

National Award winning director Tigmanshu Dhulia’s film based on romantic drama which revolves around the two primary characters. It is believed that Ali Fazal has borrowed inspiration from superstar Shah Rukh Khan for his role in the movie.

If sources are to be believed then one of them said “SRK is considered the king of romance and he was also the producer of Ali’s second film, Always Kabhi Kabhi (2011). Having grown up watching SRK romance on screen and now that he’s finally getting to play a loverboy on screen, Ali is borrowing inspiration from him for his character.” 

Ali Fazal, who belongs to Lucknow  and with great emotion he said, "It is the first day of the shoot and I am really excited to be joining the Milan Talkies team in my hometown. A lot of new things will be happening for the first time for all of us. I am working with Shraddha in her first Bollywood film. It feels very weird to be shooting in Lucknow. I've lived here, known these gullies, mohallas all my life, and I never thought I will be shooting here. It feels good."
