Race 3 Jacqueline injured on sets, says producer Ramesh Taurani

New Delhi : News confirmed that actress Jacqueline Fernandez got injured while shooting for a powerful action sequence for Race 3.  The current shooting was going on in Abu Dhabi and while performing a high-intensity action, she suffered from eye injury. She was, then, immediately rushed to the hospital.

Action sequence is not easy to perform but B-town Jacqueline dares to do so. Following an action role in her upcoming movie ‘RACE 3’ she underwent eye injury and was taken to the hospital. However, after receiving primary treatment at the hospital, she was discharged. Jacqueline returned to the shooting site soon after her visit to the hospital and continued her planned scene.

Producer Ramesh Taurani confirmed the news to IANS, "Yes, it was a minor injury. Jacqueline is hurt above the eye while playing squash. She is better now and has resumed shooting."

Since last week, Jacqueline has been shooting for RACE 3 action sequences in Abu Dhabi.  After the release of the film, audience will see the actress stylized action and Mix Martial Art techniques involving a lot of kicks and punches. Sources confirmed that the Sri Lankan actress has been preparing for two hours daily to give best of action moves.

The film "Race 3" will cast Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Saqib Saleem and Daisy Shah. The action thriller movie is produced by Salman Khan Films and Ramesh Taurani under the banner of Tips Films. The film is directed by Remo D'souza. It will strike the theatres screen on Eid 2018.

Though, most of the viewers did not find Jacqueline’s Ek Do Teen appealing yet Salman Khan believes that she has done full justice to the re-made version of 'Ek Do Teen', originally performed by Madhuri Dixit
