Rhea Chakraborty arrested, confessed to using drugs: Reports

Mumbai : Actress Rhea Chakraborty has been arrested in Mumbai by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) after three days of questioning in her alleged connection with drug-related allegations in Sushant Singh Rajput case.

Media reports suggest that she has admitted to arranging drugs for Sushant Singh Rajput and even using them at times. According to sources mentioned in an NDTV report, she broke down when confronted with her brother Showik Chakraborty, who was arrested last week. 

The NCB started its investigation on the basis of WhatsApp chats retrieved from her phone, which allegedly pointed to Rhea's connection in procurement of drugs. Rhea Chakraborty was first summoned on Sunday, when she was mobbed by the media upon her arrival for questioning at the drugs agency's office in Mumbai.

According to sources mentioned in the report, Rhea apparently told the NCB officials that "whatever I did, I did for Sushant".

The Narcotics Control Bureau claims to have evidence linking Showik Chakraborty and Samuel Miranda (Sushant Rajput's house manager) to the purchase of marijuana.

Recently, Sushant Singh Rajput's cook Dipesh Sawant had claimed that he has seen Sushant Singh Rajput taking drugs.

The drugs case is based on 59 grams of curated marijuana seized from two alleged drug peddlers and their alleged links to Sushant Singh Rajput.
