Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan collects over Rs 350 crores on Box Office in India

Mumbai : It has been a week since Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan released in theaters and since then the movie has been receiving good response from the audience. On its seventh day at Box Office, the movie managed to fetch over Rs 21 crores.

Directed by Atlee, Jawan has minted around Rs 366.08 crores in India in one week. The growth has declined during the weekdays but it is expected that it will again pickup during the weekends.

Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh had tweeted, “#Jawan is all set to post a sensational total in its extended Week 1… It’s a new benchmark for #Hindi films… Unprecedented- Unimaginable… Thu 65.50 cr, Fri 46.23 cr, Sat 68.72 cr, Sun 71.63 cr, Mon 30.50 cr, Tue 24 cr. While the movie is performing well in India, it must be noted that the international box offices are also on fire. Shah Rukh Khan-starrer movie has crossed Rs 600 crore mark in overall collections.

Jawan released in theaters last Thursday in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu versions. Apart from Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role, the movie features Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi as the main characters. Deepika Padukone also made a special appearance as Shah Rukh's mother in the film. Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Girija Oak, and Aaliyah Qureishi played the roles of the six girls on Shah Rukh's team, while Ridhi Dogra, Sunil Grover, Mukesh Chhabra, Yogi Babu, and Eijaz Khan had supporting roles. Additionally, actor Sanjay Dutt surprised the audience with a cameo appearance in the movie.
