Srinagar : Shah Rukh Khan's 'Pathaan' has become the first movie in 32 years to see a housefull shows in Kashmir.

Famous Multiplex chain Inox on January 26th announced that their theatres in Kashmir Valley were going housefull for the first time in 32 years, thanks to the craze of Shah Rukh Khan and his latest rules 'Pathaan'.

The official handle of the multiplex chain tweeted, "Today, with #Pathaan frenzy gripping the nation, we are grateful to KING KHAN for bringing the treasured #HOUSEFULL sign back to the Kashmir Valley after 32 long years! Thank you #ShahRukhKhan".

Pathaan Box Office Collection

According to figures shared by Shahrukh Khan’s manager Pooja Dadlani, the film has crossed around ₹313 crore gross worldwide. The poster declares Pathaan’s collection as the 'highest grossing opening weekend in the history of Indian cinema.'

As per breakdown mentioned in the poster, the movie has made around Rs 201 crore gross in domestic market and Rs 112 crore net in the overseas market.

After getting a bumper opening on Republic Day with ₹73 crores, the movie saw a little drop and on the 3rd day of its release it collected around ₹38 crores.

Yash Raj Films, on the other hand, declared 'Pathaan' as 'the only Hindi film to breach ₹100 crores worldwide GBOC barrier on 2 consecutive days.'

The figures have stunned all the traders. Before 'Pathaan', only Yash starrer 'KGF 2' Hindi had managed to rake such figures in its 4-day opening weekend.
