Mumbai : A special team of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) questioned a staff member of Sushant Singh Rajput, who was found dead at his residence in Mumbai on June 14.

The CBI team had landed in Mumbai on Thursday night. The 10-member team is being headed by Superintendent of Police (SP) Nupur Prasad, who also met the officers of Mumbai Police with knowledge of the case.

They have collected all the investigation reports and also the postmortem report of the actor from Mumbai Police.

First staff member who has been questioned by the CBI is Sushant's cook, who is among the key witnesses.

Forensic experts from the Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL), who are a part of the team, will also examine the crime scene today.

On Wednesday, Supreme Court had ruled that CBI will be taking the case in their hands after reports of Mumbai Police not doing the investigation properly.

The Supreme Court also asked the Mumbai police to hand over all evidence it has collected to the investigating agency and said any other case registered in connection with the actor's death would also be investigated by the CBI.
