Stree 2 Box Office Collection: Shraddha Kapoor-starrer surpasses Shah Rukh Khan’s 'Pathaan'
Mumbai : Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao-starrer movie Stree 2 is continuing its mega collection on Box Office as it surpassed Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan and Hindi version of SS Rajamouli's 2017 action epic Baahubali 2: The Conclusion. With all this, Stree 2 has become the second highest grossing Hindi movie.
On Saturday, Stree 2 domestic Box Office collection was at Rs ₹516.25 crore, taking it ahead of Baahubali 2. On Sunday, the estimated collection was around ₹10 crores, taking its total to ₹527 crores; thus beating Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan ( ₹524.53 crore) as well.
Now, Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan is the only movie which is above Stree 2 in terms of domestic collections on Box Office.
It must be noted that Stree 2 has not been facing any major competition on the Box Office. However, Stree 2 will face fresh competition from this Friday, September 13, from Hansal Mehta's investigative thriller The Buckingham Murders, starring Kareena Kapoor.
Stree 2 also features Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, Aparshakti Khurana, and Tamannaah Bhatia among others. It's backed by Dinesh's Maddock Films and written by Niren Bhatt. It released in cinemas on August 14.
