Sunny Deol's Gadar on Box Office collections, set to cross 100-crore-mark

New Delhi : As expected Sunny Deol is doing Gadar on the Box office collections as his recently released movie has been receiving immense love from the viewers; Gadar 2 is all set to cross Rs 100-crore mark in the opening weekend.

Amid a good response to re-release of Gadar - Ek Prem Katha in June 2023, it was clear that Gadar 2 will be fetching good numbers. The sequel, set against the backdrop of 1971, is filled with adrenaline-pumping scenes and the patriotic dialogues that one would anticipate from an action-packed film starring Sunny Deol.

Gadar 2 has witnessed a surge in its earnings, collecting approximately Rs 43 Crore at the box office. The film is expected to make around Rs 48 crores on its first Sunday, which will lead the total box office collection of the movie to Rs 100 Crore league. 

The period-action-drama starring Sunny and Ameesha has become the second-highest opener of 2023, following Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan. Interestingly, both movies have been loved by audiences for their high-octane action sequences and gripping suspense.

• Friday: Rs 40.10 Crore

• Saturday: Rs 43.00 Crore (rough data)

• Sunday: Rs 48.00 Crore (early estimates)

• Total: Rs 131.10 Crore

Gadar 2 also stars Utkarsh Sharma, Simrat Kaur and Manish Wadhwa in crucial roles. The film released on August 11, 2023.
