'Super 30' tax-free in Uttar Pradesh, Hrithik Roshan thanks Yogi Adityanath

Lucknow : Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan expressed a heartfelt gratitude to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for making his recently released movie 'Super 30' in Uttar Pradesh. He took to twitter and wrote, "Heartfelt gratitude for this gesture. Thank you Shri. Yogi Adityanathji for announcing the film tax-free in UP."



Helmed by Vikas Bahl, 'Super 30' tells the story of an Indian math genius Anand Kumar who runs an educational programme for underprivileged students aspiring for a seat in the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).

Anand had recently paid a visit to UP CM Yogi Adityanath and had requested him to make the movie tax-free in the state.

ANI reports that the chief minister congratulated him for his undying efforts and dedication in shaping the future of a number of students.

Sharing the good news on Twitter, Anand wrote, "Honourable Yogi Adityanath ji, many thanks from the core of my heart. I will always remember and so will the young generation, the way you honoured us and made Super 30 tax-free in UP."



The movie was made tax free in Bihar and Rajasthan earlier this week. Meanwhile, Super 30 is faring well at the box office as well. So far, the film has raked in Rs 80.36 crore domestically.
