Patna : The Bihar Police who are investigating the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput have claimed that they are unable to locate his friend Rhea Chakraborty.

"The investigation is in its initial stages and is in the court... We have not been able to locate her (Rhea Chakraborty) yet, but we are trying to," said Bihar Director General Of Police Gupteshwar Pandey, adding that the Supreme Court is yet to give a verdict on her petition.

Four-member team of Bihar Police had arrived in Mumbai to investigate the "abetment to suicide" case registered against Rhea Chakraborty and others in Patna.

Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai apartment on June 14.

Recently, the Supreme Court had rejected demands of CBI probe in the matter and had ruled that the matter will remain with police as they are capable of solving the matter.

Sushant Singh Rajput's father, Krishna Kumar Singh, had lodged a complaint against Rhea Chakraborty and six others, including her family members, for alleged "abetment to suicide", in Patna this week.
