The Kashmir Files movie gets appreciation from PM Narendra Modi

New Delhi : The Kashmir Files movie was released on March 11, 2022 and since then it has been making headlines for its daring story presenting the exodus of Kashmiri Hindus during the Kashmir Insurgency. The movie has now received appreciation from PM Narendra Modi himself.

PM Narendra Modi called filmmakers - Vivek Agnihotri and Abhishek Agarwal – to appreciate them for their movie. Actress Pallavi Josh also accompanied them during the visit.

Abhishek Agarwal shared a glimpse from the meeting and wrote on Twitter: “It was a pleasure to meet our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi Ji. What makes it more special is his appreciation and noble words about #TheKashmirFiles. We’ve never been prouder to produce a film. Thank you Modi Ji."

Released on Friday, the movie stars Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty and Darshan Kumar in the lead roles along with Pallavi Josh.
