New Delhi : As expected mouth of word publicity seems to have worked for Akshay Kumar's Toilet: Ek Prem Katha. Massive growth in Day 2 Box office collections has been registered by the movie.

Toilet: Ek Prem Katha collected over 17 crores on the second day of release, claims a report by Boxofficeindia.com.

The film has opened to positive reviews from both the critics and the viewers, managing Rs 13 crore opeing on the Box Office.

Since it is an extended holiday weekend, it is expected that the film will do good in coming days and may surpass Rs 100 crore mark with a steady growth.

Directed by Shree Narayan Singh, the film is satarrical take on a major sanitation problem pertaining in major parts of India.

'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha' also stars Anupam Kher, Divyendu Sharma, Sana Khan, Sudhir Pandey and Rajesh Sharma in important roles.
