Welcome Taimur Ali Khan- son of proud parents Kareena and Saif!

Los Angeles : Kareena Kapoor Khan and husband Saif Ali Khan on Tuesday welcomed a baby boy and named their son Taimur Ali Khan which means Iron or a famous king.

Well, no wonder the son will become one of the most sought after Bollywood baby especially with Kareena and Saif as his parents. 

The actress gave birth to Taimur at the Breach Candy Hospital at 7.30 am on Tuesday, December 20. According to reports both mother and baby are doing fine. The announcement was made by none other than Kareena's best friend and director Karan Johar who went ahead and declared the little prince's name as Taimur Ali Khan on Twitter.

An official statement was also released by the happy couple that stated: "We are very pleased to share with you all the wonderful news about the birth of our son : Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi, on the 20th of December 2016. We would like to thank the media for the understanding and support they have given us over the last 9 months, and of course especially our fans and well wishers for their continued affection. Merry Christmas and a happy new year to you all...With love, Saif and Kareena."

Notably, Kareena is a first time mother while Saif already fathers two children - Sara and Ibrahim - from his first marriage to Amrita Singh.
