Good Newwz Review: A perfect comedy of errors

New Delhi : If we talk about Kareena Kapoor and Akshay Kumar's previous movies together then it will be correct to say that they have struggled a lot to stand out as a comic on-screen pair; but with the 'Good Newwz' they have put their vows to rest.

The on-screen couple looks powerful and synced to perfect comic timings. Kareena Kapoor (Deepti) plays the character of a journalist and Akshay (Kumar) plays the character of car salesman.

The early segment of the movie is filled with several scenes where you will have enough of the gag moment as the couple tries their best to have a baby. After many failed attempts they finally opt to take professional advice and the fun gets large.

With the entry of The Joshis (Adil Hussain and Tisca Chopra), enters the serious comedy. In their clinic, comes another fun-loving a little amateur couple - Honey (Diljit Dosanjh) and Monika (Kiara Advani) - who was struggling with the same issue.

In a clever comedy of errors, a goof up due to the similar surname leads to a blast of laughter. The Batras from Mumbai are more polished and mature, while Batras from Chandigarh have a touch of local small town. What happens post goofup is a good treat for all the fans of the starcast.

If we have to describe the movie in one line then it would be that it stays best in the comic mode and when it shifts its tones in some part the movie softens its grip on the audience.

The writers must also get a credit for good witty dialogues which make the movie more of a fun ride.

Overall, the film has enough of the entertainment on the sensitive matter of adoption and abortion.
