New Delhi : One of the most popular music streaming services in India, Spotify has changed its home screen. They have added endless scrolling like Instagram and a smart shuffle mode with other updates. The new design has been launched 2 end the monotonus design they have been using for the past 5 years. 

While many people are claiming it to be an attempt by Spotify to turn it into something more than just a music app. Similar to TikTok, Instagram, Spotify users will now be able to use the new feature of scrolling vertical feeds. While the playlist and albums will be placed on top of home screen if you navigate to music or podcasts and shows section, the app will show vertical scrolling feet design to make a make music and podcast discovery easier.

Talking about the playlists, the developers have also made improvements to the algorithm and introduced 'smart shuffle'. However, this new feature is available only for the premium subscribers and has not been rolled out to all.

Also, the vertical feed is not limited to the home screen and feed is not limited to the home screen and it will the users will be able to access it from the search tab on the top. The recommendation and interests of the users will be used in the new update as well as Spotify will suggest according to their preferences and likings.
