One person who follows this principle is Ankush Ingle a.k.a DJ ODIN who is one of the few mainstream house music producers from India. Ankush has worked hard to come so far and he is among the revered names in South Asia’s music scene. He dreams, works hard to achieve the dreams, and then dreams again. The best thing about him is that he doesn’t lose touch with reality and invests his efforts in a direction that yields result.
His friends describe Ankush as an explorer who has travelled far and wide to find his sound and strike the right chords. Ankush’s interest in music dates back to his school days when he’d use any surface as an instrument and try to make music. After he completed school, DJ ODIN learned to play guitar, drums, violin, and table. He did this to explore music in all possible ways and figure out what he liked best. His interest in playing musical instruments motivated him to make music his profession. He made a major decision in 2015 when he dropped out of engineering college to follow his passion for music. He moved from Amravati to Mumbai and worked hard to advance his artistic career.
Ankush defines this move as a defining decision of his life. In Mumbai, he enrolled in the DJing masterclass by DJ Cyrus and learned the art of DJing. Learning from one of the best DJs in the country made sure that Ankush acquired amazing skills. He complimented these skills with practice and has now reached a level where he is the DJ of choice at B-town parties.
Recently, he was seen clicking a selfie with Dino Morea and they look absolutely pumped after a great party. He regularly performs at popular clubs and venues including Bombay Cocktail Bar, Bombay Adda, Mansion at Sahara Star, Rodeo Drive, Mitron, Lord of the Drinks Mumbai, Dragonfly Experience Mumbai, Barrel and Co., Club Illusions, XOYO Thane, The Secret Thane, Tryst, Amethyst.
In the past, he has performed for celebrities like Shalmali Kholgade, Ankita Lokhande, etc. He also performs at private events like weddings/ sangeet/ cocktail parties, etc. His amazing DJ capabilities ensure that his schedule is full at most times. Even now, he has the gig calendar for the next 2 months lined up.
