TV actor Karan Paranjpe found dead at his residence, he was 26

New Delhi : Television actor Karan Paranjpe who performed in popular TV serial Dil Mill Gaye passed away on Sunday. Paranjape was found dead at his residence at around 11 am on Sunday. He was just 26 years-old. He was known for his role of role of Jignesh in the popular show Sanjeevani which also starred Karan Singh Grover and Jennifer Winget

Though no official reason for sudden death of the actor has been confirmed, but Pinkvilla states that the actor suffered a heart attack while he was asleep.

Actor Karan Paranjpe’s mother first saw his death body at his residence at around 11 am. His co-star Karan Wahi expressed his deep grief over the death. He wrote, “You will be missed JIGS.”. Karan is survived by his mother.

Besides acting, Karan was also a part of few creative shows. Like this, similar kind of incidents involving famous personalities from the film and television has been noticed this year. Last month, Bollywood legendary Sridevi passed away in Dubai where she went to attend her nephew Mohit Marwah’s wedding. The cause of death was initially known to be a cardiac arrest but was later confirmed as accidental drowning by the actress, as stated by the forensic report.

A few days later, veteran TV actress Shammi aunty of the Hindi film industry passed away at her home in Mumbai. Shammi’s real name was Nargis. The Parsi TV actor was the former wife of legendary Bollywood filmmaker, the late Sultan Ahmed. She became famous in the television world for her role in Dekh Bhai Dekh, a a Hindi sitcom which was aired on Doordarshan's Main channel, on 6 May 1993.
