After 'Bigg Boss 10', 'Koffee with Karan' gets a special emoji on Twitter

New Delhi : Twitter is well known for getting creative with every passing day, and in a new they have created a special emoji for India's much-talked about TV show - 'Koffee with Karan', hosted by Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar (@karanjohar).

Millions of avid TV users will now be able to join the conversation on social media platform with a special emoji for the show. Viewers can Tweet using #KoffeeWithKaran, #KWKonSW and #KWK and the iconic yellow coffee mug emoji will appear next to the hashtag in their Tweet.

Adding more to it is introduction of new hashtag every week relevant to the show's topic of discussion and guests. This dynamic and unique hashtag will also activate the special emoji. For eg. #KoffeeWithSRK or #KoffeeWithAlia.

According to Viral Jani, head of TV Partnerships, Twitter India, "Twitter is what's happening in the world of news, sports, and entertainment and brings fans closer to their favourite stars and top entertainment moments. Koffee with Karan is an iconic show on Indian TV and we are excited to announce creative innovations and release exclusive content and videos on Twitter for this season. The first-ever Koffee with Karan emoji and the special celebrity hashtags will also delight fans across the globe."

Recently, we had seen special emojis for Indian events like Ganeshotsav, International Day of Yoga, Independence Day and Republic Day. Twitter has also launched a special emoji for famous controversial show Bigg Boss 10.
