Pratyusha suicide case: Last phone call transcript out, parents furious

New Delhi : The transcript of Pratyusha Banerjee's last phone call with her boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh has been released, the lawyer of her parents said they will now seek re-investigation in the issue as several key aspects have been ignored in relation to her alleged suicide.

Advocate Neeraj Gupta, representing her parents, told PTI that police seemed to have overlooked many aspects and they wanted the case to be re-investigated.

"Police didn't investigate the case properly. They ignored many important aspects. As of now, we don't have entire charge sheet. Once we get it, we will study the documents and file a fresh application on Monday," Gupta said.

Aspect that cops missed completely

In the conversation, Pratyusha is mentioning about a third person who allegedly gave her life threat calls. The cops ignored this completely and did not investigate who is that third person.

The police also didn't look properly into Pratyusha's blood and viscera reports, he said.

Pratyusha, famed for her on-screen character Anandi, was found dead in her flat on April 1 this year. The family holds her boyfriend guilty for this while the evidence claims it to be a suicide.
