Senior journalist Rohit Sardana passes away. He was Covid positive

Noida : Senior journalist Rohit Sardana, who was tested positive for coronavirus, passed away on Friday morning. He suffered a heart attack today morning.

The news has also been confirmed by Sudhir Chaudhary of Zee News. In Hindi, he wrote that he never imagined of hearing a demise of a friend so close to his heart. He mentioned that he was not prepared for it.

Condolence started pouring in soon after the news got confirmed. His current colleague at the TV Today organization also condoled the death.

On April 24, he himself had tweeted to inform that he has tested positive for coronavirus.

Rohit Sardana is known for his straight forward nature of reporting. He was famous for anchoring prime time shows - 'Taal Thok Ke' at Zee Network and 'Dangal' in Aaj Tak. He was also a 2018 Ganesh Vidyarthi Puraskar Awarda recipient.
