Mumbai : Once considered as the biggest threat to dipping The Kapil Sharma Show, The Drama Company failed to register its presence in Top 20 shows.

The Drama Company managed to get only 3.1 million impressions; while The Kapil Sharma Show received 4.6 million impressions to hold 11th position in the BARC India's recently-released weekly data (July 15-21).

Sony TV's The Drama Company was considered to be a show that could have replaced The Kapil Sharma Show over dipping TRPs.

Mithun Chakraborty made a debut on the show that features popular comedians like Krushna Abhishek, Sugandha Mishra, Sanket Bhosle, Ali Asgar.

The show revolves around a theatre company, run by Shambhu Dada (Mithun Chakraborty) with actors who are trying their best to put together a perfect play, but something or the other goes wrong.
