A SpiceJet plane collides with a pole ahead of take-off at Delhi airport

New Delhi : A Jammu bound SpiceJet airline reportedly collided with a pole ahead of its scheduled departure from the Delhi airport. No passenger or staff was hurt in the accident.

The passengers were later shifted to a different aircraft.

SpiceJet airline SG 160 that operates between Jammu and Delhi had a collision with an electric pole during the push back. A replacement aircraft was ordered after the incident.

An enquiry has also been ordered in the matter.

Today, SpiceJet flight SG 160 was scheduled to operate between Delhi & Jammu. During push back, the right-wing trailing edge came in close contact with a pole, causing damage to aileron.
