When CM Yogi Adityanath shook hands with Akhilesh Yadav

Lucknow : It is not a common sight to see two leaders from Opposite parties greeting each other with smiles and handshakes; this happened in Uttar Pradesh Assembly when CM Yogi Adityanath and the leader of Opposition Akhilesh Yadav were seen greeting each other with handshakes.

A small video clip of the incident was tweeted by news agency ANI; it happened as UP's newly-elected legislators took oath on Monday.

In the recently concluded Assembly Elections in Uttar Pradesh, BJP had won the majority with 273 of 403 seats. Akhilesh Yadav's Samajwadi Party had managed to win the 111 seats.

During the election campaigns, Yogi Adityanath and Akhilesh Yadav were seen indulging in bitter war of words.
