Dehradun : Delhi CM and Aam Aadmi Party Chief Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday announced that Ajay Kothiyal, retired colonel, will be the Chief Ministerial candidate of Uttarakhand for AAP.

He also announced that they will fight elections with an aim to develop the state as a spiritual capital for Indians staying across the world.

Mr. Kejriwal also promised job for youth of the state.



Yesterday, CM Kejriwal had said that he will be visiting Dehradun on Tuesday to make a very important announcement regarding the “development of Uttarakhand.”

Taking to Twitter, Kejriwal posted in Hindi, “I am going to Uttarakhand tomorrow. Aam Aadmi Party is going to make a very important announcement tomorrow. This announcement will prove to be a milestone for the progress and development of Uttarakhand.”



The party had announced its decision last year to contest the Uttarakhand assembly elections, trying to emerge as the alternative to the ruling BJP and the Congress.
