An email with plan to assassinate PM Narendra Modi

New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi is one of the most high-profile politicians in the world and with that, he also has some haters who do not like his presence.

An email has been received by NIA that claims planned attacks in major cities and a motive to assassinate Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The sender has claimed that he currently has 20 kgs of RDX that is capable enough to take the lives of thousands of people.

He also mentioned in the email that sleeper cells across the nation have been activated on February 28 to complete the task.

This is not the first time when the agency has received such an email; earlier in 2018, an email had claimed to plan PM Modi's assassination in Rajiv Gandhi's style.

Meanwhile, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has initiated its preliminary investigations and is trying to identify the sender and email id owner.
