Yogi Adityanath may announce 202-meter-tall Ram statue structure in Ayodhya
New Delhi : With Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visiting Ayodhya for Diwali celebrations, there are speculated reports which claim that he may announce a 202-meter-tall Ram statue in the city.
The actual height of the statue will be around 153-meter, it will be placed on 51-meter pedestal, making it even taller than the 182-metre 'Statue of Unity' in Gujarat.
According to reports, the state government has already received some of the presentations for the proposed project that is yet to be officially announced.
Last week, Yogi Adityanath had announced that he will be announcing some ‘good news’ for Ayodhya.
A Times of India report claimed that he will be scouting places in the city to finalise where the statue can be made.
Earlier, Ayodhya district administration had finalised a site near Ram Katha museum but the land is disputed. Sources said the administration has identified a four-hectare land, near Queen Hu's memorial.
