Culprits should be hanged in public, says Bhopal gangrape victim

Bhopal : Demanding a stringent action against the culprits, a Bhopal gangrape victim has demanded death penalty. “They should be hanged on the streets,” she said.

She also accused cops of not lending her proper support as she walked in the police station to file a complaint against the culprits.

The victim, who was gangraped near Habibganj Railway Station on Tuesday, said,”Police’s behaviour was bad. We were going from one police station to another but none cooperated.”

On Friday, five policemen have been suspended for negligence in the matter. The suspended cops include SHOs of three police stations and two sub-inspectors.

The Madhya Pradesh government has also ordered to form a special investigation team to probe the case.
