Goa : A Goa bound flight from Moscow with 244 people on board has been diverted and was emergency landed in Jamnagar after a bomb threat was sounded on late Monday.

According to report, a total of 236 passengers were on board with 6 crew members. All have been evacuated safely. The Police, Indian Air Force and airport officers are now scanning the aircraft.

For now, the passengers, who are mainly the tourists, have been guided to the lounge inside the terminal building of the airport.

The inputs of bomb on the Goa bound flight were received by the ATS team via an email. The team has also joined the investigation of Azur Air aircraft.

Since investigation is on, it has been reported that till the time investigation is over, the passengers on the flight will be shifted to a hotel where they will be staying and if required the immigration will be done there itself.
